Looking for Wonderful Town theatrical costumes? Originally set in Greenwich Village, New York, in 1935, the story revolves around two sisters who arrive in search of love and fortune. WONDERFUL TOWN is one on the most colorful 20th century musicals with beautiful songs (Leonard Bernstein) and fabulous costumes. In this production, the Director shifted the time frame to the 1950's and LOOKING4COSTUMES was glad to oblige.
The costumes are perfectly matched for the comic antics of tunes like "Conga" and "Swing"... prompting one reviewer to claim the character "Ruth" was an incarnation of Lucille Ball!
